2024 Christmas Jumper Day & Nursery Christmas Craft Event
On Tuesday, 17th December, our school came together to celebrate the festive spirit with a variety of engaging activities.
As part of our annual tradition, our pupils and staff proudly donned their most festive knitwear for Save the Children's Christmas Jumper Day. This event is a nationwide initiative that raises money to support children in need, aligning with our school's core value of Empathy. By participating, our community demonstrated their commitment to making a positive difference in the lives of others.
To further embrace the holiday cheer, our school community gathered for a delightful Christmas lunch. Students and staff enjoyed a delicious meal, accompanied by the sound of festive music and the laughter of pulling Christmas crackers. This shared experience embodied our school's values of Community and Peace, as we came together to celebrate the season in a warm and inclusive environment.
Alongside our school-wide festivities, our Nursery team hosted a special Christmas craft event for our youngest learners and their parents. This activity allowed our families to create meaningful holiday crafts together, fostering a sense of Thankfulness and strengthening the bond between our school and the community. By providing these opportunities, we aim to nurture the creativity and family connections that are so integral to the Norbury Manor experience.
