National Poetry Day

The thumbnail has been assigned to the news item, and for convenience also added to the body here:As part of our National Poetry Day activities, our Key Stage 2 pupils had the opportunity to take part in a special online workshop led by the renowned poet, Laura Mucha. During the session, the students were invited to put their writing skills to the test and contribute to a Guinness World Record attempt for the largest online poetry lesson.

Throughout the workshop, the students demonstrated our school's core values of Scholarship, Resilience, and Empathy. They approached the writing task with enthusiasm and a willingness to learn, reflecting our commitment to excellence and a love of learning. The students also showed compassion and consideration for one another, embodying our ethos of creating a warm, welcoming, and secure environment for creativity.
