Norbury Manor Primary School Celebrates Diversity at BRIT Reach Festival 2024

Celebrating Diversity at the BRIT Reach Festival

Recently, our Year 4 pupils had the opportunity to showcase their talents and celebrate diversity at the prestigious BRIT Reach Festival 2024. The theme of the festival was "Celebrating Diversity," and our school was thrilled to be a part of this exciting event.

Collaboration with BRIT School Students

The BRIT Reach Collaborations Programme brought together BRIT staff, Norbury Manor Primary students, and BRIT students to create a captivating dance piece that celebrated the diversity within our community. Our pupils worked tirelessly alongside their BRIT counterparts, learning from each other and honing their performance skills.

A Memorable Performance

On July 12th, 2024, our pupils took to the stage at the BRIT School to perform their final piece in front of a live audience. The energy and enthusiasm they brought to the stage were truly inspiring, as they showcased their talent and passion for the arts.

Aligning with Our School Values

This experience perfectly aligns with our school's core values of empathy, scholarship, and community. By collaborating with students from a diverse background, our pupils demonstrated their ability to work together with sensitivity and respect. The performance itself was a testament to their scholarly pursuits, as they dedicated themselves to mastering a challenging dance routine.

Moreover, this event fostered a sense of community, not only within our school but also with the wider BRIT School community. Our pupils felt a deep sense of pride in representing Norbury Manor Primary School and were grateful for the opportunity to share their talents with a larger audience.
