Year 5 and 6 Football Tournament at Crystal Palace Football Ground

On November 22nd, 2024, our talented young footballers had the opportunity to participate in a tournament held at the prestigious CPFC Academy training ground. This was a remarkable occasion for our pupils, as they not only got to showcase their skills on the same pitch as their professional idols but also experienced the thrill of competing in a high-level tournament.

Throughout the day, our pupils demonstrated the Resilience and Excellence that are hallmarks of the Norbury Manor community. They approached each match with determination, working together as a team to overcome challenges and push their limits. The Empathy and Community values were also on full display, as the children supported and encouraged one another, celebrating each other's successes.

The tournament provided our pupils with a unique opportunity to develop their leadership abilities and Scholarship, as they learned to strategize, communicate effectively, and make quick decisions on the field. The experience also allowed them to exercise their right to personal freedoms and explore their interests, aligning with our commitment to a broad and balanced curriculum.

As we continue to nurture the growth and development of our pupils, events like this football tournament serve as a testament to our school's unwavering dedication to providing transformative experiences that empower our "learners today, leaders tomorrow."
